The Bantu peoples made up 75% of the enslaved blacks brought to Brazil. In the interior of the country, a group of young people hold a Reinado party, a traditional event of Bantu origin. Together with Captain Pedrina, their mentor, they learn about their history and the history of their ancestors, experiencing this Afro-diasporic tradition as a space for healing and learning.
