SYNOPSIS

Abdoul works at a toll station in the Senegalese backcountry to get closer to his dream of owning his own house. Although his wife could earn much more than Abdoul, he does not dare to hand over this responsibility because of the culturally shaped image of men. When his wages are not paid for the second time, he resorts to illegal means and fate takes its course.
