SYNOPSIS

In the 19th century, the French Riviera was popular with European Aristocrats looking for a warm winter home. Nice and Cannes became hot spots for the Dukes, Dutchesses, Barons, and Marquis of the still burgeoning monarchies of Europe, arriving on the first trains bound for Cannes from Paris, St. Petersburg, and Vienna.
