SYNOPSIS

VERA struggles to enjoy a beach day with her family. There's sand in her sandwiches. Her four-year-old wants attention. Her partner criticizes her, invades her space. She escapes into the sea, but can't escape how these roles of wife and mother obscure who she was, before. She commands her family to obscure her completely: "Bury me." They do, in sand. The tide comes in and washes her away.
