SYNOPSIS

My friend Pap, boatman in Djiffer, Senegal, is marrying his son, a traditional sereer wedding, with the codes and customs specific to this kind of ceremony. Praise singers, witch doctor, the bride first hidden and then discovered in the evening light, it's the most beautiful party he could have dreamed of to honor his wife, children and in-laws. But it's also a film about friendship.
