SYNOPSIS

Under German occupation during the Second World War, food was scarce and the black market sprang up, despite checks. That may be beside the point, but Claudine in fact gets on a tram with a very heavy bag. It's her daughter's birthday and she promised her she'd have a taste of chocolate.
