SYNOPSIS

At sixteen, Alex decides to leave his native country, The Gambia, and to cross Africa to go to Europe. During the whole journey, he imagines the life he could have on the other side of the Mediterranean Sea. A year later, he eventually disembarks on the Lampedusa's coast in Italy.
