SYNOPSIS

In order to help the forests adapt to global warming, a group of scientists tries, via the underground network of trees, to connect the Amazon rainforest with the Burgundy region's fir trees. Twenty years later, an eminent professor retrieves the archives of that experiment and retraces the events of that tragic and bitterful failure.
