SYNOPSIS

Laura lives in Nice with her new companion Alexandre who is the lookalike of an American star. One day when they visit her immigrant grandmother, she talks about her life story. Laura promises to make a film about it. They go to Sicily to do research on the origin of the Sicilian emigration to the coal mines in Lorraine. The arrival of the couple in the village will stir up curiosity...
