SYNOPSIS

Jamila - a young Ivorian-American woman - is forced to confront her anxieties about her identity when her wish to get her hair braided pushes her to her limits. When her braider Kon disappears on her before finishing her hair, Jamila must traverse a fantastically animated Ivory Coast in order to track her down.
