SYNOPSIS

During the White Terror period in Taiwan, Shi Shuifang, a woman who advocates ideas bravely in an underground political organisation, seems to be a glimmer of hope in these troubled times. The organisation's agent of surveillance admires Shi Shuifang and falls in love with her. However, in the circumstances of violent events, he has to watch her, helpless, suffer from the many injuries that were inflicted upon her.
