SYNOPSIS

After the death of her husband, Ilse decided to contact her first love, whom she had left at the age of 25. Since then, they've been writing regular letters, sending flowers and phoning each other. On his bedside table at home is a photograph of Ilse. When they were both on vacation in the North Sea in 1956. Ilse would like to see Horst one last time. He wants to die with the memories.
