SYNOPSIS

Nurjahan is a mixed-race girl raised by her West Indian and Christian mother, and by her North African and Muslim father. According to family tradition, on her 17th birthday, she must choose whether she prefers to practice her father's religion, or her mother's. Nurjahan knows that HER decision could sow discord within the whole family...
