SYNOPSIS

Theysi is a midwife. She runs the local clinic that serves the entire indigenous community of Palma Real in the Peruvian Amazon. Far from her native Lima, from family and friends, she wonders about the loneliness of her vocation. Her days are a mix of silence and intimacy as she guides young local women through their pregnancies. This is a day in her life.
