SYNOPSIS

Within the maternity ward of Hospital Trousseau in Paris, Sofia and Lina, two young midwives, take their first steps as healthcare professionals. In the course of frantic shifts, they witness their ideals colliding with challenging working conditions in a struggling public hospital. Through the portrait of a generation, the film takes stock of the profession and its survival.
