"Lady Text" is a work that blends science fiction and fairy tale elements, primarily exploring how humans reconnect with the world and rediscover self-awareness in a world where words suddenly disappear. Through the character of Tao Tian, the story portrays a literature graduate student who is overly dependent on text, her confusion, struggle, and eventual awakening after the disappearance of words. In terms of creative thought, the author uses Tao Tian's encounter with "Mr. Darcy" and the influence of her roommate Deng Lu to illustrate an individual's transition from reliance on text to embracing the real world, and the process of understanding the world anew through images and sensory experiences. The inspiration stems from contemplation on the role of text and media in modern society, as well as human psychological and behavioral responses to sudden changes. Through Tao Tian's inner world and Deng Lu's visual arts, the work delves into the concept of "the medium is the message" and how humans perceive and express the world through other senses and media after losing text. At the same time, the work also reflects the relationships between people in modern society and the adaptation and growth of individuals amidst societal changes.
