Mamadou, Léo, Fakhri, Thibault and the others, residents of the JB Fouque hostel, are supervised by an educational team who help them to create the tools for their own freedom. These young people, often victims of discrimination, share their personal experiences and reflect on their place as citizens in society. Between intimate accounts and fictional scenes, the film explores with humour a quest for equality, a desire for inclusion and social change.
