SYNOPSIS

A few months before the 2024 Olympic Games, the Canadian national artistic swimming team loses its main training venue. "The Fire Within" is an immersive essay documentary that captures the resilience and adaptation of these athletes through a poetic portrayal of movement. The film intimately explores their training in their new location, transforming each scene into a visually stunning aquatic dance.
