SYNOPSIS

Filmed during a voyage in Lapland, Norway, the video depicts a crepuscular landscape as the camera glides over the sea in a 38 minutes long take travelling amongst islands and mountains. Propelled by a drone music improvisation, the film takes us on an immersive experience through a journey in time, space and light that recalls marine paintings. Mountains seem to move across the sea, gradually disappearing with the light in a slow mystical wandering reminiscent of Nordic mythologies. The title “Mørke” means darkness in Norwegian.
