In our world, where it seems everyone follows their own path, can our destinies still intersect? The documentary “The Path of Our Inner Artist” (original German title: Eines Künstlers Weglein) follows the aspiring filmmaker Lisa Legina in a profound conversation with the German-Israeli artist Oded Netivi in her hometown of Heidelberg. Lisa reflects her destiny as a filmmaker and on the influence of her Jewish identity on her art. Oded, whose extraordinary journey to his art is central to the story, also shares his inner conflicts, which ultimately led him to fulfill the artistic-dream of his father, who escaped the Holocaust. In this touching encounter, not only are the challenges of emerging artists highlighted, but universal insights about identity, dreams, and self-fulfillment are also revealed, making the film relatable to people of all professions and generations.
