SYNOPSIS

MUTE'N'PLAY is two movies wrapped into one, a mockumentary, a tribute to the antechamber of cinema, to the losers of the 7th art, to the enthusiasts who have ideas bigger than their budget; to those who are told it can't be done but do it anyway. MUTE: Amidst the horror of WWI, the trenches become the unexpected backdrop to the union of two beings. PLAY: Action! Explosions go off, smoke fills the set, dozens of extras start running everywhere. A young director turns his mom's backyard into the biggest and most absurd shoot indie moviemaking has ever seen.
