SYNOPSIS

The film "LIVE ACTION ROLE PLAY" revolves around narratives of apocalyptic imaginary worlds entangled with performances of masculinity. While media images of war are currently omnipresent, players spend their free time in a post-apocalyptic scenario. Alongside the protagonists of the game, we dive into this world of LARP (Live Action Role Playing) and are confronted with seemingly contradictory atmospheres: the late summer idyll and the subliminal violence of the game.
