SYNOPSIS

Shortly before his 18th birthday, Landry, a MENA (=Unaccompanied Foreign Minor), awaits to hear back from the foreign office regarding his residence permit (regularisation), his future in Belgium is uncertain. LONG SYNOPSIS Landry, an unaccompanied foreign minor seeking citizenship in Belgium, lives with a host family with whom he has formed a very strong bond. He dreams of becoming a sports coach. Shortly before his 18th birthday, as he awaits to hear back from the foreign office, Landry is faced with an uncertain future; the risk of deportation to his country of origin or living as an undocumented immigrant, if his residence permit application is rejected when he comes of age.
