SYNOPSIS
In the autumn of 1949, a Hakka young man went to the indigenous tribe Sqoyaw to carry out educational reform and political work. Nine months later, he was arrested by the Bureau of Investigation and Statistics. Today, led by the tribe elders, we visit the scenery where he was for the last time, and reconstruct a path of “being-towards-death.”
