Two teenage boys pull up at a deserted intersection at night. While waiting they make awkward small talk: one reveals his lofty ambitions for the future, while the other doesn't have a plan - he's paralyzed by dark predictions of humanity’s future. The red light shows no sign of changing. The passenger gets out of the car and notices that the usually busy road is deserted, he stops to take in the peace and quiet. The driver gets out of the car to hurry him and the two conflict over their opposing worldviews while increasingly surreal events occur around them. The light turns green only when they come to communion, but the two boys stay in the intersection and play.
