SYNOPSIS

The stop-motion film is the result of several workshops, based on the pupils' interpretation of the book "Les cabossés" by France Quatromme and Barroux, published by Kaléidoscope in 2023. Publisher's presentation: Monsieur Carré is absolutely perfect. But when he gets home, he feels very lonely. Who could be perfect enough to keep him company? Then one day, three people from different walks of life knock on his door. One is bent, one is cracked and one is crumpled. Will Monsieur Carré be able to overcome his prejudices? Through a study of the socio-educational context specific to the Françoise Dolto school, this story was designed to raise awareness of the complementary nature of difference, using the combination of knowledge as the first step towards moving between oneself and others. French, experimental sciences and the arts linked to digital practices were used in this work, the aim of which was to understand the body and narrative schema. The cross-disciplinary approach to questions of body and language obviously encouraged the progression of knowledge, but it also symbolised the link needed between bodily movement, the application of knowledge and relationships with others.
