SYNOPSIS

In the 1980s Mardin, Turkey, an Assyrian boy Gabriel (11) studies under an authoritarian education system. For Domestic Goods Week, Gabriel and his friends bring homemade food and drinks. Their careful preparations, however, yield surprising results in the school's oppressive atmosphere, where even minor mistakes are harshly punished.
