SYNOPSIS

One day on a full moon, botanist Sara Yasui (29) is conducting a sample survey to look for a new plant species, but on her way back down the mountain, she smells a certain scent in the air. Following the scent, she finds a large field spread out beyond a thicket of trees. There stands a woman, and it was she who was the source of the scent. Sara speaks to the woman and they begin to talk during the night. At midnight, when the moon is at its highest, the woman makes Sara promise not to show herself to the woman and not to look at each other, and they begin to dance. Sara, however, breaks her promise and steals a glimpse of the dance from behind a tree, causing a flashback of her mother and herself, and she stops the woman from dancing. Sara replies that her mother died when she was very young. They discuss Sara's past, decide what to call each other, and spend time together, and the night passes quickly. Then, as night falls, the woman (Yuri) says that her broken promise will not disappear, and disappears without a trace, leaving Sara behind. Fast forward, and Sara is awakened by a girl. The girl is Sara's daughter. The flashback memory is actually Sara's future self. Sara gets up and gazes at her daughter's back as she goes to look for flowers.
