SYNOPSIS

This is the story of a mother in the final stage of an incurable illness rapidly spreading around the world. The illness's unique characteristic is that it can only be cured by being transferred to another person. The mother's husband is by her side during those final days, along with their two young children, desperately searching for volunteers to save their mother's life. Despite his efforts, no one comes forward. She is left with just a few hours to live, he needs to decide what is best for his family. Faced with the reality of his wife's imminent death, he decides to make the ultimate sacrifice, allowing the medical procedure that will transfer the illness to him, ultimately saving his wife's life. The next morning, the wife awakes to find her husband has passed away in the bed next to her, only separated by the medical equipment used to transfer the illness. As the nurses cover his body with a blanket, she is heartbroken and filled with grief, but at the same time grateful to hold her children close again. Meanwhile, similar scenes are playing out in the same hospital around them and all over the world. As this new technology becomes prevalent, what impact will this terminal illness and its cure have on society?
