SYNOPSIS

Giorgio battles OCD (Obsessive-compulsive disorder) and lives with his half-sister Letizia, a successful writer like their late father. He longs to follow their footsteps but feels trapped in his struggles and explicit humor. When he meets pansexual Marta, who has Tourette syndrome , there’s an instant connection. Two broken souls finding comfort in each other’s chaos. When the world seems to mock her, Giorgio’s protective instincts flare, deepening their bond. Giorgio is yet in love with Cecilia, a paralympic swimming champion. In his strive to connect with so-called mental normality, he shows up at her practice session and declares his feelings. She is fascinated by this strange character but she’s married. He takes the hit. That night, the weight of Marta’s and Giorgio’s diversity crushes their souls and makes them feel alone in the world.
