An association of local stakeholders saved the monument from imminent destruction and is currently overseeing the restoration efforts. Their ambitious project aims to transform this vast space into a hub for nature, agriculture, and culture, open to the public. French Visual artist Chrystel Lebas engages in long-term projects involving photography, sound, and video. Her work documents and reveals changes in nature caused by ecological and anthropological interactions. And together with a map from 1723, they embark on a short journey to understand who is part of the transformation of this territory.
