SYNOPSIS
When someone dies, another takes their place. The word character denotes a person, gives them identity, and clarifies the figure in the story. In the short film "The Land of Character," we follow Maria, a working woman who creates life. It is about learning, the will to power, and perfection. Maria is a sculptor, something of a master in her craft. She brings forth Hubert, a unique being, a human, like you and me, yet something entirely different.
