SYNOPSIS

Kemal, a doctor in the city, is dismissed from his job because he signed the declaration of academics for peace. He then decides to seek asylum in Germany. Kemal comes to the village to say goodbye to his father, who works as a gassal in the village. He cannot discuss his desire to seek asylum with his father. Some events in the village test Kemal's loyalty to the village and his father. Kemal, stuck between his own peace and future and his father and village, has to make a choice. This state of distress causes Kemal to confront his past.
