Yoon Jiwoo instantly hits it off with the new transfer student, Song Jiwoo, and they become swim partners. Having learned Yoon to be the school pariah, Song makes an uncomfortable request: they can remain friends, but only in private. At a later swim practice, when Yoon is racing against Nayun, Song pulls Yoon by her ankle. Feeling betrayed, Yoon convinces the clique to turn against Song. However, Yoon begins to grow concerned of Nayun’s potential for further cruelty towards her friend.
