SYNOPSIS

Morocco. Naima, a single mum, and her son Ahmed, 11, live in a slum. As the State decides to rehouse them, Ahmed must change schools. But the law is formal: only the father can sign the transfer paper. And Ahmed’s father disappeared years ago. Now that all she can do is track her ex-husband, Naima engages herself on uncharted paths, beyond the world she knows. And ultimately: beyond the law.
