SYNOPSIS

Ji-sook, a middle-aged woman with a family history of dementia on her mother’s side, lives with her daughter Hee-jin and her elderly mother, who now behaves like a child due to advanced dementia. One day, after watching a TV program that claims curcumin in curry may help prevent memory loss, Ji-sook prepares curry for dinner. But when her mother refuses to eat, tensions rise between them. Years ago, Ji-sook’s mother once asked her to end her life if she ever lost her mind. Now, faced with that reality, Ji-sook finds herself on the verge of fulfilling that heartbreaking promise.
