SYNOPSIS

After ten years, a man is released from prison. He arrives at an abandoned lighthouse entrusted to him by a cellmate, situated in an unfamiliar land of vivid blues, jagged stones, and Elysian Fields. The man attempts to build a new life, tending to beehives in need of protection, while the nearby village chooses to remain willfully indifferent. A girl’s corpse, carried ashore by the sea, disrupts his solitude. Past sufferings and present challenges conspire to shatter the isolation in which he seeks refuge. In the sticky sweetness of honey, nature and death intertwine to pay homage to life.
