SYNOPSIS

Yanan, the second daughter of a wealthy family, was left in China since childhood and was raised by her mother. The father and eldest daughter, Shengnan, immigrated to the United States. From the day his father left, Yanan silently vowed in his heart every day, hoping to see his father again. She used to do housework in exchange for her presence. Today, is the day when father returned home after five years. For the first time, Yanan was allowed to enter the home that year closed study cleaning, but accidentally found that there is no herself in the family photo. For dinner, father bought an elaborate cake as a symbol of the seeming family harmony. With great anticipation, Yanan thought the cake was for her, but father asked Yanan's little nephew to blow out the candle. The family laughed around nephew. Yanan sit alone on the other side. Yanan was deeply disappointed. She made up her mind to be capricious for once in exchange for her father's attention. She rushed out of her house and ran through the silent streets. When a car slowly approached, she had a hope of survival, worried that perhaps her father had come to her. However, the car drove past her and did not stop. Lost to the extreme, Yanan spent a lonely night in the abandoned park, accompanied by her only shabby dummy model. The next morning, when Yanan dragged his tired body back home, she was greeted by the mess of the hall.She looked at the candles on the leftover cake, silently picked one up, closed her eyes, and made a wish for herself.
