Serapio Ruiz attempted more than thirty times to cross the border between Mexico and the U.S. to achieve the American dream. He became the best vine grafting expert in the world and returned to Mexico to help the people of Lake Chapala, becoming a reference and a success story of migration. On his first day at the White House, Trump declared a "national emergency" at border and implemented new measures to curb irregular migration and facilitate the deportation of what he calls "illegal aliens." We are all descendants of someone who set out walking in search of a new life.
