One morning, 'I' come to see the ankle of my already dead friend 'you'. 'I' discover an entry in the shared diary we used to write together, where 'you' had organized a list of things you wanted to do before dying. And with a sudden impulse, 'I' decide to do all of those things today. While going through the things that needed to be done before death one by one, 'I' fall down in a park and meet 'someone'. 'I' suggest having coffee with this 'someone' who treats my wounds. 'I' have a conversation with 'someone' at a cafe, where 'someone' tells me that they want to applaud when they see a person who falls perfectly. And before performing the last task on the list of things to do before death - eating cake - this 'someone' tells 'me' to wait as they will bring back a delicious cake, but 'someone' never returns even after time passes. After waiting for a long time, 'I' have an intuition that 'someone' will not come back. While waiting for 'someone', 'my' impulse subsides. 'I' belatedly realize that I had let go of everything and fallen without even resisting, getting hurt. And 'I' write a letter to 'you'. That I won't forget you, but at the same time, I will try to fall while protecting myself. The empty spaces in the second half of the movie are the spaces where social disasters occurred in Korea. All of the social disasters that occurred in the spaces were events that could not have occurred when the absence of the social system was severe. I would like to send a message of consolation and solidarity to those who have lost loved ones to the events.
