SYNOPSIS

When his mother left, A Li met his father for the last time. His father gave him a stone, and the two made a promise to meet again. Seventeen years later, A Li—now grown up under his grandfather ’ s care—worked at Uncle Liu ’ s courier station. As the wind power project advanced, the white giants in the distance gradually approached the village. Haunted by the unfulfilled promise, A Li decided to search for his father. His father saw A Li, but A Li did not leave...nor could he ever leave again.
