Jérémie and his mother share a very close, almost symbiotic relationship. It is in a suburb of Paris that his mother settled several decades ago. But their lives are turned upside down when Ghislaine is diagnosed with Charcot's disease. Helpless and holding onto a last glimmer of hope, Jérémie throws himself into work while juggling medical appointments. His relentless quest for a cure leads him to a meeting with a young woman who, for brief moments, will pull him out of his desperate condition. Between their close relationship, love, and illness, Jérémie will be caught in turmoil until the moment of healing. His own emancipation thus leads us to ask one fundamental question: what kind of healing are we really talking about?
