SYNOPSIS

In their home besides a lighthouse in a Dutch town, Tom (72) has cared for his wife Jantje (66) with unwavering devotion ever since a stroke left her bedridden nearly seven years ago. Her body is frail, weighing barely 36 kilos, yet their love remains as strong as ever. But as Tom becomes more consumed by Jantje’s care, his own health begins to deteriorate. The question they have long avoided becomes inevitable: what happens if Tom can no longer take care of her? Until the End is a moving documentary about the power of love, the burden of care, and the resilience of two people carrying everything together—until they no longer can.
