SYNOPSIS

A photographer travels to Alexandria in search of the city described by Lawrence Durrell in The Alexandria Quartet. In its streets she encounters two ghosts: the literary city and the real one, trapped between its past and its present. He discovers that neither in literature nor in real life is there a single truth.
