SYNOPSIS

After ten years away, Bebé returns to Havana—a city she had only seen through reels, social media posts, and influencer videos. What she finds is far from those idealized images: a city full of contradictions, beauty, and decay, revealing the raw truth of time's passage. Her gaze, changed by distance, wavers between nostalgia and critique, between recording and feeling, between belonging and simply observing. The film offers an honest, unembellished portrait, carried by two opposing voices: one from someone living Cuba’s daily reality, the other from someone returning with questions. Together, without offering solutions, they invite viewers to confront the complexity of a country where repression, inequality, and disillusionment exist alongside memory, connection, and dreams that persist despite everything.
