Six women gather on Sunday for an Unusual kind of tea party : a collective gynecological self-exam workshop. Clémentine, Camille, Audrey, Lilas, Margaux, and Anne—six women of different ages and backgrounds—come together for a self-help workshop, a practice of gynecological self-examination born in the 1970s and now making a comeback in feminist circles of the new generation. A lamp, a mirror, a speculum—nothing more. But because the personal is political, self-help becomes a way for them to reinvent (feminist) approaches to care, and to open up… cervix and soul alike.
