SYNOPSIS

Yaya, a migrant from Myanmar, doesn’t cry at her husband’s funeral. Her silence is mistaken for coldness, but her grief is buried beneath cultural divides and the harsh reality of a homeland she can no longer return to—a country in political turmoil. In a quiet act of defiance, she begins to mourn in her own way, reclaiming her right to feel.
