SYNOPSIS

At an art fair, a body is discovered with four stab wounds. Commissioner Ziggurat and Lieutenant Le Bon investigate the case, but without success. A facial composite of a suspicious canvas - drawn by a mechanical agent - eventually helps them on their way. They set a trap with a conceptual art manifesto as bait. The ruse works: the suspicious canvas shows up, but escapes. During the ensuing chase, commissioner Ziggurat disables the canvas with a crossbow. The 'perpetrator', an art student, is not arrested. According to Ziggurat, bad art is the real culprit.
