SYNOPSIS

"Smoke" is a short film that blends narrative storytelling with video art, following a young, resilient woman struggling with grief. After losing her beloved, she is left alone on a rural farm, where everyday reality intertwines with fleeting, dreamlike visions. Inspired by the expressive paintings of Karol Palczak, the film contrasts raw, grounded imagery with poetic, surreal moments. A visually striking meditation on loss, memory, and the weight of the past, "Smoke" draws the audience into a world where silence carries as much meaning as words.
