SYNOPSIS

An elderly man's life ends in a Palliative Care Unit, but he is not alone: ​​Maria, a young nurse, accompanies him on this solitary journey. Maria's stoic attitude towards Death is shaken by a series of events in her Unit, which culminate in the shock of finding Graça, her mother, on the kitchen floor of her home, victim of a sudden illness. Devastated by the ordeal, Maria seeks comfort in the help of the anonymous dying people who populate her Unit. Graça, however, is left alone, like those to whom Maria dedicates her life.
